There is no comparison between the BLM riots and the January 6th protest

 

If the January 6th protest was a 'riot' (it wasn't), then the BLM riots was 'World War 3'. Yet, the media, democrats, RINOs, left-wing corporate CEOs, and other bad actors would like to gaslight us into believing that the BLM riots were mostly peaceful and justified. Conversely, they tell us that a bunch of January 6th protestors wandering around taking selfies inside the Capitol building was an 'insurrection' (nobody has ever been charged as such) and that we almost lost Our Democracy™.

 

Let's compare the two events.

 

DURATION:

BLM: 5 months in dozens of cities.

Jan 6th: About 4 hours. Protestors entered the capital shortly after 2 PM. Police cleared the Capital interior by about 6 PM.

 

DAMAGE:

BLM: 2 billion dollars, but likely more.

Jan 6th: Just 2.7 million dollars according to the Architect of the Capitol. This number is probably grossly inflated because the government is famous for over-paying, and in this case, piling on charges in order to make the protest worse than it actually was. Also, the vast majority of damage was not broken windows and doors, but rather pepper spray that somehow got on expensive art pieces. This sure sounds like the work of over-zealous police. Or, perhaps it was left-wing agitators who pepper sprayed the paintings. Nobody really knows.

 

ARSONS:

BLM: 624

Jan 6th: Zero.

 

POLICE VEHICLES BURNED:

BLM: 97

Jan 6th: Zero.

 

LOOTING INCIDENTS:

BLM: 2,385 incidents reported in a 10-week period.

Jan 6th: Zero businesses. But, there were two reports of theft insided the capital. One man reportedly stole a coat rack [We note that this sounds absurd. He probably just grabbed it as a prop and the act of moving it was piled on as 'theft']. Another man reportedly stole some CSPAN employee equipment. There were some erroneous media claims of protestors stealing memorabilia. For example, Yahoo reported that a protester 'appeared to steal a podium'. In reality he simply moved it to the center of the Capitol Rotunda.

 

ARRESTS:

BLM: 16,241 arrests (countless other looters and vandals should have been arrested)

Jan 6th: 775 arrests (the vast majority for simply trespassing after security was shown allowing them to enter). Dr. Simone Gold is a prime example of a 100% peaceful protestor sent to prison for 2 months by an Obama judge for merely trespassing.

 

PEOPLE SHOT DEAD:

BLM: 23 people

Jan 6th: 1 person (Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed Air Force veteran killed by Michael Byrd)

 

POLICE OFFICERS INJURED:

BLM: 2,037 police officers

Jan 6th: 140 police officers

 

POLICE OFFICERS KILLED:

BLM: 1 retired policeman in St. Louis killed trying to stop looting. 1 nearly killed during BLM riots in Las Vegas.

Jan 6th: Zero. Despite blatant DNC/mainstream media lies, Capital Hill Police Officer Brian Sicknick, suffered two strokes and died of natural causes the day after the Jan 6th protest [1, 2].

 

UNREST ENCOURAGED BY OUTSIDE AGGITATORS:

BLM: No. There is no evidence of right-wing aggitators.

Jan 6th: Yes. We now know that it was left-wing aggitators who ripped down fencing, etc.

 

UNREST ENCOURAGED BY POLITICIANS AND/OR MEDIA:

BLM: Yes. Encouraged by Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Kamala Harris, Ayanna Pressley, Maxine Waters, Chris Cuomo.

Jan 6th: No. There is no audio sound bite, nor any social media post, of any such calls for violence by Donald Trump. In reality, Trump repeatedly called for peace.

Trump also released a video on Jan 6th calling for peace.

 

 

Jan 6th was a failure of Nancy Pelosi -- Not Trump

 

The National Guard's response timing to the Capitol on Jan 6th was limited because of Nancy Pelosi -- Not President Trump. President Trump said he “strongly recommended” sending in the National Guard to secure the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, but the request was ignored by Nancy Pelosi. Beware of fake news 'fact-check' websites that summarily declare this to be definitively 'false'. These fake news sites typically add qualifier words, such as "requested" or "ordered", which is different than "strongly recommended".

 

Chief of U.S. Capitol Police, Steven Sund requested National Guard assistance six times ahead of and during the Jan 6th Capitol protest. Each of those requests was denied or delayed.

 

 

Democrats actually enciting violence and still to this day have never been investigated by any House select committee (AKA rules for thee but not for we):

"Show me where it says that protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful" - Chris Cuomo, on CNN

 

"They're not gonna stop. This is a movement. I'm telling you. They're not gonna stop. And everyone beware, because they're not gonna stop. They're not gonna stop before election day in November, and they're not gonna stop after election day. And that should be -- Everyone should take note of that on both levels. They're not gonna let up, and they should not. And, we should not." -- Kamala Harris (D), regarding the BLM 'protests'.
