Once upon a time, the ACLU fought for free speech. Those days are long gone.

 

The ACLU was deafeningly silent over Alvin Bragg going after Trump.

 

The ACLU sued the Trump administration 413 times.

 

The ACLU's deputy director says they are flat out against Trump's agenda.

 

The ACLU is under fire for helping to destroy lives of Smith College workers falsely accused of racism.

 

The ACLU is fighting to uphold a university's ability to essentially discriminate against whites and Asians.

 

Despite claiming to fight for people's civil liberties, the ACLU attacked Kyle Rittenhouse:

 

"Despite Kyle Rittenhouse’s conscious decision to take the lives of two people protesting the shooting of Jacob Blake by police, he was not held responsible for his actions, something that is not surprising. But Kyle Rittenhouse isn’t the only one responsible for the deaths that night. The events in Kenosha stem from the deep roots of white supremacy in our society’s institutions. They underscore that the police do not protect communities of color in the same way they do white people."

 

When Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted, the ACLU went on a racist tweet tirade about "white supremacy", and continued to falsely and egregiously lie about what happened, by characterizing the violent thugs who chased and attacked Kyle Rittenhouse as merely "protesters" who were simply "exercising" their "First Amendment right to protest". Kyle Rittenhouse was targeted, threatened and attacked by a mob of thugs, including Joseph Rosenbaum, who said to Rittenhouse, "if I catch you alone tonite, I will kill you". Later, Rosenbaum chased Rittenhouse for 155 feet before Rittenhouse used his gun to save his life. Yet, the despicable ACLU is still accusing Kyle Rittenhouse of "targeting, threatening and attacking" his attackers.

 

Police leaders blame the ACLU for the rash of smash-and-grab robberies.

 

The ACLU supported California's toxic Proposition 47, which allows criminals to steal up to $950 worth of merchandise and only be charged with a misdemeanor.

Sarah Michelsen from the ACLU encouraged people to "break" Senator Kyrsten Sinema until she votes to end the filibuster. The senator has been continually harassed by activists. On Twitter, Michelsen also calls for defunding of the police.

 

The ACLU fights for Americans illegal immigrants, including those individuals who were "separated from their families" at the border and were seeking lavish $450,000 government payments from the Biden administration.

 

The ACLU honored left-wing activist judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg and edited out her improper pronouns.

 

The ACLU cheered on the arrest of Douglass Mackey.

 

Gillian Branstetter, a media strategist for the ACLU, smeared Libs of TikTok as "right-wing propaganda" -- ignoring the fact that Libs of TikTok merely reposts real videos.

 

The ACLU fights against due process when it protects people the ACLU doen't like (namely conservatives).

 

The ACLU pressures canvassers to rubber-stamp election results rather than exercise meaningful oversight.

 

Even a former ACLU director says that the ACLU no longer supports free speech [1, 2].

 

ACLU executive director, Anthony Romero hypocritically complained about Elon Musk owning Twitter, saying “there’s a lot of danger having so much power in the hands of any one individual". We're not aware of the ACLU having any problem with Jeff Bezos owning the Washington Post, John Henry owning the Boston Globe, Michael Bloomberg owning a majority stake in Bloomberg News, etc. Clearly, the ACLU is only upset because Musk wants to uncensor Twitter.

Not surprisingly, the ACLU donates almost exclusively to democrats.

 

FIGHTING FOR DEMOCRATS: Independent candidates hurt Joe Biden, so the ACLU wants to stop a new Georgia election law that makes it easier for an independent candidate to qualify for the presidential ballot.
